While the memory write performance remains consistent throughout, the read performance grows a few hundred MB/s for both the Crucial and Corsair. What's interesting is that the Corsair running at an overclocked 1,083MHz 5-5-5-15 virtually matches the synthetic memory performance of the Crucial at 800MHz 4-4-4-12. The synthetic copy performance is quite similar between the Crucial and Corsair and increases to a similar level respectively when overclocked.

As expected the Crucial at 4-4-4-12 has a lower latency than the Corsair at 5-5-5-18 when both are running at 800MHz, and when overclocked to the same 5-5-5-16 latency, the Crucial's faster clock means again a lower latency.

Sisoft Sandra tells a very similar story to Everest – the overclocked Crucial gets the best results and its faster memory timings at 800MHz ekes out just a bit more performance than the Corsair.
